What it is
A real workout, coached.
The same striking style as our kickboxing classes, turned into a conditioning hour. You hit pads and bags with purpose and get coached the whole way.
- 01
Conditioning that carries over
Pad work, bag work and bodyweight rounds build conditioning that carries into everything else you do.
- 02
Form under fatigue
You still learn real punches and kicks. Form gets coached even when you are tired, because sloppy technique is how people get hurt.
- 03
Your pace, pushed
Push hard, and take a break when you need one. Both are encouraged. Nobody gets called out for catching their breath.
- 04
A base for the rest
The striking basics and the gas tank you build here make Kickboxing and Fight Prep easier to step into.

Questions
Before you come in.
Is this technical kickboxing or a workout?
A workout built on kickboxing. If you want the striking in detail, Kickboxing runs Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 PM. Plenty of members do both.
Do I need to be in shape to start?
No. You get in shape by doing it. Everyone is out of breath at first, and it gets better fast.
Will I get hit?
No. It is pad work, bag work and conditioning drills. There is no sparring in Combat Conditioning.
Can teens come?
Yes. Teens 13 to 16 train as their own group inside the same class, so they get the same workout without being grouped with little kids.
Can I add jiu jitsu or kickboxing?
Yes. The $125 All Class Pass covers every eligible class at Fight Mechanix and Great Lakes Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, in the same building.
Monday or Wednesday. 5:00 PM.
First 14 days free. No contract. Loaner gloves for your first class.
